Yesterday, the Federal Aviation Administration made the almost-final version of its launch safety rulemaking publicly available on-line here, pending the document’s publication in the Federal Register.
Deadlines don’t kick in until Federal Register publication.
I’ve just started reading it. It’s long.
I will read with great interest. A quick check of the applicable sections seems to show, however, that at least some of my comments, especially on hybrid vehicles, made it into the final rule. The rule making process does work!!
